Health Amplification
Wellness RISK Management (WRM)
The Four Behaviours Surrounding POOR
Wellness.
The biggest problem in modern health
care is people not doing what science has shown they should be
doing, AND people doing the things science has shown they should not be doing, AND
thinking the things science has shown they should not be thinking, AND not thinking the things
science has shown they should be thinking. |
So, How Do We Deal with ALL That?
We Measure and we Motivate.

Above all, we want things thorough and comprehensive in the
Self-Help field for workers to gain the advantages they need, at their own level, in
Chronic Disease Prevention Strategies. Small changes are usually
easy. We help people find the right ones for them.
What Kind of People Are We Looking for
We are looking for people who have an interest in keeping their physical bodies,
and their minds, active, young looking and functioning efficiently so the BEGINNING of the last 10 years of their
life can be pushed past their hundredth birthday. People who want a fit
body and fit mind are who we are looking for however, there is a caveat. They must be willing to work for
it.
How then, does one regenerate one’s lifestyle? We have a plan.
- Measure
- Assess
- Identify
- Prioritize
- Motivate
It’s all about Making Wellness a Priority. It’s about doing the work. It’s about
‘To Be Act As If’.
It is difficult to act as if when you don’t have numbers guiding you.
- We provide the numbers.
- We provide the assessment.
- We provide the identification.
- We provide of the prioritization.
- We provide the motivation.
We have built a comprehensive, thorough, online measurement program. We have built
a workshop program highly focussed on targeting personalized WRM Action Plan items which individual
people need to perform. We are in the process of building a weekly online meeting place for people to ask
questions and renew their commitment to themselves.
When one has regenerated their lifestyle by completing a Measured section of their
entire WRM Action Plan List, (say 60% of their WRM FULL
WORKLOAD) So then, just what is considered ‘normal’? Science
directs us on that front.
If we take the very first questionnaire a person measured themselves with and we
add up the total number of outstanding action plan items identified by the measurement, then we label that
number as the WRM FULL WORKLOAD for that person, we
will then have an idea of a reasonable overall goal for that person. If we say we want the first level of
confidence to be completing 60% of that list identified in the measurement, then we have established the
criteria that is always measurable. This is of course, assuming the client is completing the questionnaire in
good faith.
The biggest problem in modern health care is people NOT doing what science has shown they should be
doing. |
A question first!
Are you intending on AMPLIFYING something that
you don't have?
|
Trying to amplify something you don't have is
like trying to buy something with no money. Most likely you will not be successful.
The next big problem in modern health care is people doing what science
has shown one should NOT
be doing. |

In order to focus on the positives we need to know more about ourselves with
regard to what Wellness evidence shows is the right way to go. That brings us to MEASUREMENT.
Measurement offers science as a lead into how to modify
behaviour. Workshops offer one-on-one help and group
help for motivational troubleshooting with regard to behaviour routines.
Long-Term Goals
Self reliance and self activation are long term goals using future measurements
every few months with a set of new score result numbers as the lead in to a new Wellness Action Plan
List. A Progress Chart helps people easily see their results and makes it easy
to monitor progress. The Report of Findings helps a person understand where they stand with
regard to multidimensional Wellness.
The above points, and much clinical experience, lead us to the understanding that
people need to want to help themselves in order to ensure success.
Our goal is to help people break the cycle of Wellness
Self-Help failure and bring a higher level of Wellness to people. With the help of
WRM Self-Help Wellness Courses (Workshops), people will learn to use
the program on their own.
To grasp Wellness Actions more effectively there is knowledge that
must be imparted. We measure for that knowledge as well as what is actually being done by the client as it applies
to the Self-Help field.
There are several new terms we have coined to focus on important
concepts in both the community population and in the clinical population. Wellness RISK, Self-Help, Five Pillar Wellness are
some important terms.
We are focussing on the non-clinical, non-therapeutic population base
in our community's various workforce populations starting with offering our services to local companies.
